Professor Collins was an instructor for Basic and Advanced Clinical Microbiology for students in a four-year program in Clinical Laboratory Science. She has been involved in distance learning for an MLT/MT articulation program throughout the state as well as the traditional four-year program leading to a bachelor’s degree. She has served as ASCP state advisor, on the ASCP Board of Registry and has also been very active in ASCLS, ASM, SCACM, and the state society, KSCLS. She has held several offices in those organizations.
