This course is a biennial 2-hr refresher for physicians involved with fluoroscopy-guided interventional (FGI) procedures as required by NYC. This course is relevant to fluoroscopy procedures known for high dose rates that can potentially lead to adverse effects to the patient’s skin due to radiation. Examples of procedures include interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization.
